Connect your LinkedIn account
A connected LinkedIn account that can send connection requests, messages, InMails, and profile visits from your campaigns.
CLIENT-ONLY · How-To
Outcome
Section titled “Outcome”A LinkedIn account connected and ready to run in campaigns.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Strategist or Oracle plan
- An active LinkedIn account, ideally 30+ days old with a complete profile and existing connections
- Go to
Settings. - Open the
Accounts. - Click
Connect LinkedIn. - Follow the sign-in flow, or cookie capture.
- Authorize Wiggli to act on your account.
- The account appears with
Connectedstatus.
The connection runs on your LinkedIn session cookies, so using LinkedIn or LinkedIn Recruiter in another tab doesn’t disconnect Wiggli. You can work in both at the same time.

Connecting multiple LinkedIn accounts
Section titled “Connecting multiple LinkedIn accounts”Wiggli supports connecting more than one LinkedIn account to the same workspace. Each connected account becomes selectable per step inside a campaign builder, so you can pick which account sends a profile visit, connection request, message, or InMail.
Two common reasons to connect multiple accounts:
- Share the reach of a paid LinkedIn licence across the team. A LinkedIn Recruiter licence costs around £700/month. Teams often have only one. By connecting the licence-holder’s LinkedIn account to the workspace alongside teammates’ personal accounts, every teammate can build campaigns that send from the Recruiter account, without each person paying for their own seat. Wiggli recognizes the account as Recruiter and applies its higher caps automatically.
- Distribute volume to stay within safe limits. LinkedIn enforces daily caps per account, and Wiggli tracks them by product: 35 connection requests/day (180 over 7 days) on every product, then 75 messages/day and 30 InMails/day on Classic, rising to 125 messages/day and 100 InMails/day on Recruiter. Two connected accounts still effectively double your total capacity when campaign steps alternate between them. This matters for high-volume sourcing or BD outreach.
To add another account: repeat the connection steps above while signed in as that user (or with their consent and credentials). Each LinkedIn account must be connected by its real owner, not shared. Connecting a colleague’s account requires their explicit sign-in, since LinkedIn treats automation from a non-owner as a policy violation.
Selecting which account a step uses is done in the campaign builder, not here. See Build a multi-step outreach campaign.
Verification
Section titled “Verification”The account shows Connected. A test action (e.g. one profile visit step) runs successfully. Daily limits show in the campaign builder when you add LinkedIn steps.
Where your LinkedIn messages show up
Section titled “Where your LinkedIn messages show up”Everything sends from your own account, so everything is visible in your own LinkedIn. Campaign-sent messages and connection-request notes appear in your LinkedIn sent items and conversations. InMail replies land in the LinkedIn Recruiter inbox, not the regular message pane, so check there before concluding an InMail went nowhere. InMail steps require your own LinkedIn premium product; InMail credits come from LinkedIn, not from Wiggli credits.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Connection drops repeatedly. LinkedIn occasionally needs re-authentication. Reconnect in Settings.
- Account flagged or restricted by LinkedIn. Stop all campaigns immediately. Recovery is on LinkedIn’s side.
- Limits feel low. New accounts run conservative warm-up caps for 14 days. See LinkedIn and WhatsApp outreach limits.
- “Already connected to another workspace.” Disconnect from the other workspace first.
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”- Connect your own real LinkedIn, not a shared or fake account. LinkedIn detects multi-user accounts.
- Mature accounts (30+ days, complete profile, real connections) get higher caps and lower restriction risk.
- Ease into LinkedIn outreach from a new account. Aggressive volume too early is the fastest way to a restriction.
- Pair LinkedIn with email rather than running LinkedIn-only. Mixed-channel reply rates are higher.
